Cookie policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It stores a small amount of information in your browser so that the site works properly for you.
What we store, and why
| Name | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| thompson-safari-plan-v1 | Remembers the days, hunters and animals you have picked in the price-list estimator, so the estimate is still there when you come back to the page or go to the enquiry form. | Until you clear your browser data or press “Start over” in the estimator |
| thompson-cookie-consent | Remembers that you have seen and accepted this notice, so we do not show it again. | 12 months |
Both of these are stored using your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to us. We do not use them to identify you or to follow you around the web.
Third parties
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or social-media trackers on this site. Photos, fonts and scripts are served from our own server.
If we have switched on Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from automated abuse, Cloudflare sets a short-lived cookie on the form pages purely to tell people from programs. It is a strictly necessary security measure and does not track you across other websites. You can read Cloudflare’s own privacy policy on their website.
Your choices
Because none of this storage is used for tracking, the site works the same whether or not you accept the notice. You can clear what is stored at any time from your browser’s settings (usually under “clear browsing data” or “site data”). You can also and the notice will appear again.
More information
How we handle the details you send us through our forms is covered in our privacy policy. Questions are welcome at info@thompsonsafaris.co.za.
